When Dr. Brian Nolan sparked an idea about how to screen patients for diabetic retinopathy, a preventable cause of blindness in diabetic patients, he worked with a Research Navigator from MHIR, Learners from the Department of Medical Education and used funding from Innovation to research and develop an innovative novel solution.
